As passionate supporters of Ethnic Minority Founders we understand the various challenges that 'Non White British' entrepreneurs might face when setting up or running their business, and our goal is to make a positive difference to diverse ethnicity business owners across the UK through our Accelerator programme and the Time To Change Report we created with CREME (The Centre for Research for Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurs) who have provided guidelines and recommendations to help and support diverse ethnicity founders to start up and grow their business, no matter what the size or sector.
Since the launch of the report we’ve formed a strategy focused on the recommendations we can make the most impact on:
Redress perceived and actual barriers to finance
Build long-term trust-based relationships with businesses
Foster local networks of support to boost business survival and growth
For more information on how we're making progress on this, see the updates here.
Our CoWorking & Connect has been derived in consultation with our EMB steering group at the NatWest Accelerator in Milton Keynes in response to bullet two and three above.
Join us to cowork and network on the second Tuesday of the month; the kettle's on.
Bring your laptop or device to get some work done, we'll provide the wifi and the biscuits!
