Responsibilities

North West London / South East England area - Monday to Friday

Role fundamentals - What you will do:

  • Work closely with the client’s own internal IT team.
  • Lead network deployment project work at client sites across the London area.
  • Liaising with cabling contractors.
  • Lead new device deployments, utilising the client’s own device imaging solution.

Person Specification

Essential:

What you will need to succeed:

At least 6 years’ demonstrable experience in a relevant field.

Certification: Relevant certifications in appropriate networking or operating system, e.g. CCNA, COMPTIA Network+, Microsoft MCP.

Current network troubleshooting skills, including excellent knowledge of LAN & WAN technologies, including: IPv4, VPNs, VLANs, iSCSI, SNMP etc.

Extensive experience of firewalls & either Cisco or Aruba switch networks.

Experience of using Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) and/or Microsoft Intune to manage endpoints.

Desirable:

As well as having many of the skills needed for the role, you will be someone who really does have an interest in Technology and/or the power of education and a desire to truly understand the education sector with a natural affiliation for providing excellent service to your clients.
