Two Buckinghamshire businesses have added their names to the roll call of past winners from the county.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise recognise outstanding UK businesses across five categories: innovation, international trade, sustainability, promoting opportunity through social mobility, and the new category of young founder.
A huge congratulations to the 2026 award winners in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes:
- CTE Advanced Technologies Ltd for International Trade
- Monodraught Ltd for Innovation
His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, The Countess Howe said:
“My warmest congratulations to Monodraught on its outstanding achievements in innovation, and to CTE Advanced Technologies Ltd on its exceptional success in international trade. The King’s Award for Enterprise is among the highest honours bestowed upon UK businesses, and both organisations are fully deserving of this prestigious recognition.
"Through their unwavering commitment to excellence, forward‑thinking approaches, and sustained investment in cutting‑edge technology, Monodraught and CTE have demonstrated exemplary leadership in their respective fields while enhancing the United Kingdom’s reputation on the global stage. I very much look forward to visiting each organisation in due course to present the Awards on behalf of His Majesty The King.”
Lady Howe added: “A King’s Award for Enterprise represents success across an entire organisation, and recipients can be justifiably proud of this outstanding achievement. The Award recognises businesses that not only make a significant contribution to the economy but also embody the values of leadership, innovation, growth and social responsibility. Based in the entrepreneurial heart of Britain, these businesses play an important role in driving prosperity across Buckinghamshire. I wholeheartedly encourage businesses throughout the county to consider applying for this prestigious award.”
