Claimant count

Over the last year Buckinghamshire has been the only LEP or county council area to see a fall in claimant count.

Buckingham now has the lowest claimant count rate, at 0.5 per cent, of any of the 650 Parliamentary constituencies in the UK.

Earnings in Buckinghamshire

For those working in Buckinghamshire, earnings fell 2.7 per cent over the last year, the lowest rate of growth among any county council area or LEP.

Residence-based earnings in Buckinghamshire grew 0.6 per cent in the last year and are the 2nd highest among county council areas, ranking 3rd among LEPs.
