Charity of the Year wants to engage with businesses

Chiltern Rangers are looking for those keen to make a difference to the local environment through conservation events and 'Be a Ranger' days.

Winners of the Enterprising Charity of the Year Award at the 2016 Buckinghamshire Business Awards, Chiltern Rangers, are looking to take advantage of their success and create opportunities. The team are looking work with businesses who may be looking to give something back to the local community or add to their CSR portfolio.

John Shaw, Managing Director of Chiltern Rangers, explains: “We were surprised, delighted and honoured to win the Enterprising Charity of the Year Award, especially as we were up against stiff competition from Thames Valley Air Ambulance and Chiltern Music Therapy. We look forward to using this prestigious award to help raise our profile with the Buckinghamshire business community. We want to engage with more businesses, including some of the other Buckinghamshire Business Award winners.”

Be a Ranger team building days

“We are on the look out for businesses that want to take part in our 'Be a Ranger' team building days that take place at nature reserves throughout Buckinghamshire” says John. “These events are great for businesses as they aid team bonding, improve staff morale, motivation and health, help with communication skills and get everyone a bit of fresh air and activity. They also make a truly positive difference to the community and the environment. Add in the great CSR benefits that businesses can promote after they’ve done their day’s work and it’s a no-brainer!”
