Launching The King’s Awards for Enterprise

On May 11th, the official Buckinghamshire launch event for the 2024 King’s Awards for Enterprise took place, hosted by The Countess Howe, His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire and organised by Buckinghamshire Business First and MK Business Leaders Partnership (MKBLP).

Those in attendance and speaking at the event included The Countess Howe; Philippa Batting, Managing Director of Buckinghamshire Business First; Nicholas Mann, Chair of MKBLP; Dame Ann Limb DBE DL, Deputy Lieutenant for Buckinghamshire; and Preet Singh of Coutts.

And bringing the benefits of entering and winning awards to life was Angela Spang of JUNE Medical, previous winners at the Buckinghamshire Business Awards and the then-Queen's Awards for Enterprise. As Angela said: it’s good business to apply, it’s better business to win!
