Applications for 2019/20 Enterprise Fellowships with the Royal Academy of Engineering are now open. £60,000 funding & mentoring available.
The Enterprise Fellowships support innovative, creative entrepreneurial engineers who have demonstrated an exceptional innovation in engineering which they want to develop further.
The programme focuses on equipping the awardee with the confidence, skills, experience and network of expert advisers necessary to enable them to develop their innovation.
The Fellowships provide:
- Up to £60,000 equity-free funding
- Tailored mentoring and training
- PR, marketing and promotion
- Access to drop-in workspace in central London
These Fellowships support three types of individuals:
- Researchers wishing to spin out a company from a university or research institute
- Recent graduates wishing to start a company
- International PhD students based in the UK wishing to spin out or start up
To date, the programme has provided training, mentoring and £4.5 million seed funding to 73 individuals.
The submission deadline for Stage One is 4pm on Saturday 1st September 2018.
