Construction of the London to Birmingham section of High Speed Two has begun and over the next three years billions of pounds worth of construction works will be tendered to the supply chain.

HS2 Ltd has appointed three Enabling Works Contractors who are currently looking for suppliers to deliver work in 2018, and has appointed four Main Works Contractors who are currently developing the core railway design and will need to secure their supply chain to start construction in 2019.

Meet the Contractor event

HS2 Ltd’s Meet the Contractor event will bring these contractors together with relevant businesses who can deliver on the available contracts.

You will find a list of the key services the contractors are looking for on page 2 of this supply chain document.

THIS EVENT IS ONLY OPEN TO SUPPLIERS WITHIN THE RELEVANT TRADES AND WITH THE CAPABILITIES OUTLINED ON THE ABOVE ATTACHED DOCUMENT.

If your business has any of the capabilities listed, you are invited to register your interest by Friday 30th March to meet these contractors on a 1-2-1 basis and help deliver Europe’s largest infrastructure programme.

The Meet the Contractor event takes place on Thursday May 10th at The Vox in Birmingham.

Deadline to register interest is Friday March 30th. Meetings with contractors will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. The event is invitation-only, so after you have expressed an interest you will be notified week commencing April 16th as to whether you have secured a place.
