How it works

Nominate Your Favourite Shop: Simply fill in a quick online nomination form saying which independent shop deserves the spotlight and why. Nominations close on 20th July.

Finalists are Selected: A panel from Bira will carefully select the standout finalists. Shortlisted businesses will be contacted, celebrated, and featured on the Bira website.

Vote for Your Winner: The power is in your hands! Vote for your favourite finalist on Bira's social media channels.

Independent retailers are the heart of every community. These awards celebrate their hard work, resilience and creativity, while encouraging everyone to shop local and support the businesses that bring character and care to our high streets.

The finalists will be announced on 4th August, with voting opening on the same day. Voting will close on 27th August, with the winners revealed on 1st September.
