Enterprise Fellowships at the Royal Academy of Engineering
Applications for 2019/20 Enterprise Fellowships with the Royal Academy of Engineering are now open.
The Enterprise Fellowships support innovative, creative entrepreneurial engineers who have demonstrated an exceptional innovation in engineering which they want to develop further.
The Fellowships provide:
- Up to £60,000 equity-free funding
- Tailored mentoring and training
- PR, marketing and promotion
- Access to our drop-in workspace in central London
The submission deadline for Stage One is 4pm on Saturday 1st September 2018.

Funding for evaluating innovative medical devices
Businesses can apply for a share of £1.5 million to support evaluation in the NHS of new medical devices, diagnostics and digital healthcare technology.
The Office for Life Sciences is investing in business projects that evaluate innovative medical devices, diagnostics and regulated digital technology in real-world NHS settings.
Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme
A Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) programme is helping SMEs upgrade their business broadband connectivity.
The Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme supports the cost of installing full fibre broadband connections direct to businesses.
Through the scheme SMEs can claim up to £3,000 against the cost of full fibre connection, either individually or as part of a group project. Residents can also benefit from the scheme as part of a group project and can claim for a voucher of £500.
