£1,500 raised for Lindengate at the Buckinghamshire Business Awards

Each year at the Buckinghamshire Business Awards, guests on the night partake in a raffle that raises money for a local charity.

Seymour Taylor sponsor Scannappeal’s outdoor screening of The Greatest Showman

Local accountants Seymour Taylor recently sponsored a unique charity event run by Scannappeal. On May 20th & 27th Scannappeal put on two outdoor screenings of The Greatest Showman at the iconic Pinewood Studios. This event saw 1,200 people enjoy a wonderful evening of entertainment followed by the film screening. The event raised over £20,000 and these funds will enable Scannappeal to purchase life-saving and life-changing state of the art medical and diagnostic equipment for Stoke Mandeville, Wycombe, Amersham and community NHS hospitals that they support in Buckinghamshire.

Simon Turner Managing Director of Seymour Taylor said: “As long term supporters of Scannappeal we were proud to be a major sponsor of these screenings. These outdoor film events enabled Scannappeal to bring awareness of the amazing work they do to a wide section of the public. We are delighted that the event has been such a success for Scannappeal.”

Microsoft licencing made easy for non-profit organisations

Adepteq explain the benefits of Microsoft’s Cloud Solution Provider subscriptions for non-profit organisations.

“Microsoft’s vision is to accelerate digital transformation with the non-profit and charitable industry so they can deliver greater impact to the world’s most critical social issues. Microsoft has already delivered cloud technology to over 90,000 non-profit (NfP) organisations worldwide with a goal to reach 300,000 within 3 years.

“To help reach this goal Microsoft has introduced new Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) subscriptions for NfPs. These subscriptions are available as a donation or at considerably lower cost than the commercial equivalent. Microsoft Cloud specialist partners can now offer clients greater flexibility and payment options to obtain discounted subscriptions alongside professional services or managed solutions, rather than having to obtain directly from Microsoft (often by credit card).

"CSP licences have no minimum level, and come with monthly (with an annual commitment) or annual billing by invoice, with subscriptions easily added or removed as required on a pro-rata basis. Adepteq are a local CSP and provide reduced rates to help charities and NfPs to deploy, develop, train users on and reap the benefits of Microsoft cloud technology.

"If you have not considered Microsoft NfP subscriptions, then please contact Adepteq or visit https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/nonprofits."
