HRH The Duke of York visited Pinewood Studios to launch its Management Diploma course, which is aimed at present and future studio managers of this world-class facility.
The Diploma course will be delivered by Amersham and Wycombe College, who have helped to develop the course and with whom Pinewood has a fruitful relationship. The course is partially funded through Creative Skillset which supports skills training in the creative industries.
Students will benefit from expert teaching and will learn about managing budgets and contractors, facilities and assets and more, equipping them with everything they need, to successfully run a studio at the internationally-renowned Pinewood Studios.
The Diploma is designed for professionals working in a front-line capacity in the film studio management sector. A BTEC qualification, the course will combine theory and practice ensuring students have a diverse education in the art of studio management.
