TEDx arrives in Aylesbury – get involved with this growing movement

For the first time ever, TEDx is coming to Aylesbury, and your business could be part of the movement devoted to ideas worth spreading. TED talks are an internet phenomenon and have reached over 1 billion people online, so brand association with this event is a marketing opportunity not to be missed.

An off-shoot of TED events, which have featured guest speakers such as Bill Gates and Richard Branson, TEDx Aylesbury will take place on Saturday 9 May at The Waterside Theatre with the theme ‘Misfits and Pioneers’.  Speakers include comedian Shappi Khorsandi, Karen Blackett OBE, CEO of Mediacom, Ian Wright, Professor of Planetary Sciences at the Open University, the folk singer Roy Bailey, and David Neita, a barrister and poet.

TEDx is a not-for-profit event and partners are being sought to bring the event to life. Organisers are particularly keen to work with businesses who are able to offer in-kind sponsorship to cover the costs of catering, event insurance, and set-dressing required on the day. Packages to sponsor an element of the event range from £250 to £2000 and can be tailored to suit partner requirements.

If you would like to find out more about the sponsorship opportunities available email [email protected] and include TEDx in the subject field.
