Buckinghamshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) celebrated a decade of achievements, and looked ahead to exciting plans for economic development in the county, at their AGM on November 17th at The Gateway in Aylesbury.
Growth, employment and Enterprise Zones
Buckinghamshire LEP's AGM highlighted the major growth and development in many of its key projects and schemes, including activity around its three Enterprise Zones, which have delivered over a third of all new commercial and industrial employment space in Buckinghamshire since their inception.
In doing so, they have transformed the business environment at Silverstone and Westcott, and have already started to bring new investment into the Aylesbury Woodlands site.

During the AGM, Buckinghamshire LEP premiered their new video highlighting a decade of achievement and economic growth for Buckinghamshire.
Projects galore!
A host of projects supported by Buckinghamshire LEP’s investment have come to fruition across Buckinghamshire. These include:
- the launch of the Drone Test and Development Centre at Westcott Enterprise Zone
- the development of the Satellite Applications Catapult’s In-Orbit Services and Manufacturing facility at Westcott
- the launch of the Cycling Test Lab and Swimming Flume at the Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub
- the launch of The University of Buckingham’s Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Innovation
