Eco pioneers lead businesses on their path to Net Zero

Passionate individuals and businesses gathered in Milton Keynes for the 'Driving Positive Change into 2024' event, united in their commitment to sustainability and championing the journey to Net Zero.

Driving Positive Change into 2024

Our event coincided with the 28th UN Climate Change Conference (COP 28). Regardless of the outcome of COP 28, the momentum of change continues to grow, and together, we will champion the cause of Net Zero and drive positive change throughout 2024 and beyond!

One of the major highlights was the presence of our guest speaker, Chris Hines. Renowned as the Co-Founder of Surfers Against Sewage and the Sustainability Director at The Eden Project, Chris captivated the audience with his wealth of experience and inspiring storytelling.

Alongside Chris, we had an exceptional line-up of local sustainability champions who shared their unique perspectives and valuable insights on sustainability:

  • Daniel Cope, Climate Change Programme Manager at Buckinghamshire Business First
  • Helen Barrett, Head of Marketing & Sustainability at Moogies
  • Helen Shellabear, Managing Director at Shellwin Real Estate
  • Jacqui Garrad, Museum Director at The National Museum of Computing

The event was opened by Robin Bradburn, Deputy Leader, Milton Keynes City Council, Cabinet Member for Economy & Culture.
