Fewer than 100 days until the Buckinghamshire Business Awards!

The Buckinghamshire Business Awards 2017

“The Buckinghamshire Business Awards 2016 were another rip-roaring success that made clear once more that absolutely nobody does business like the entrepreneurs and visionaries of Buckinghamshire.”

This was how we described last year’s Buckinghamshire Business Awards in the immediate aftermath – and we weren’t wrong. But just like the businesses we work with and support, we’re not ones to rest on our laurels and so, almost before the bubbly had stopped fizzing on June 16th 2016, we put our thoughts towards making the 2017 awards even better.

Entries closed back in January and the judges are currently visiting the nominees, learning all about them and making the difficult decision as to who to shortlist and then name as the winner of a coveted Buckinghamshire Business Award.

Sponsorship opportunities

But while entries are closed, there are still opportunities for you to get involved, support the awards, and get some promotion for your business as one of our sponsors.

Your business can benefit from the kudos and marketing PR activity generated at the ceremony. Whatever your budget, bespoke packages can include both products and services. The following are the sponsorship opportunities still available:

  • Trophy Sponsor
  • Champagne Reception Sponsor
  • Awards Programme Sponsor
  • Advertising space in the programme
  • Exhibitors at the awards
  • Provide a product/service for the Awards e.g. table flowers, chocolates, table gifts and gifts for the goodie bag

If you would like to sponsor one of the above, or would like to discuss other potential sponsorship opportunities, email awards@bbf.uk.com or call 01494 927130.

Sponsor in the Spotlight

We continue our look at our valued sponsors of the Buckinghamshire Business Awards, without whom it wouldn’t be possible to stage such an event.

Department for International Trade – sponsors of the International Trader of the Year Award

Angus Murray, International Trade Adviser - South East International Trade Team, Department for International Trade

“As an International Trade Adviser for the Department for International Trade (DIT), I have been working with SMEs in Buckinghamshire for 10 years now, helping them to grow their international trade. DIT is the Government Agency that helps UK companies succeed in international markets, so as the local Adviser I am very proud to be sponsoring the International Trader of the Year category.

“Buckinghamshire is the Entrepreneurial Heart of Britain and we have some great examples of innovative companies succeeding in the global area. At a time of some global economic uncertainties, it’s never been more important for UK companies to spread commercial risk and expand into international markets.

“I am looking forward to studying in detail the export successes and strategies of our star SMEs and celebrating what’s great about using Buckinghamshire as a springboard to the world.”

Chiltern District Council & South Bucks District Council – sponsors of the Best in District Award for Chiltern District and South Bucks District

Cllr Isobel Darby, Leader of Chiltern District Council & Cllr Ralph Bagge, Leader of South Bucks District Council

“Chiltern and South Bucks Districts offer a good business environment and a high quality of life. Supporting the local economy to thrive and provide local jobs for local people is one of our key objectives. Our involvement in the Buckinghamshire Business Awards gives us the chance to recognise and reward the excellent businesses we have in our area.

“We are now in the middle of the judging process and have been inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit on show. We wish all the nominees for the Best in District Award the best of luck.”
