There were 271,000 jobs in Buckinghamshire in 2015, 0.83 for every working age resident, matching the national level to give Buckinghamshire the 13th highest jobs density among the 27 county council and the 16th highest among the 38 Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs).
uckinghamshire’s jobs density has risen for a second successive year to reach its highest level since 2005. Buckinghamshire has failed to match the South East’s jobs density for each of the last nine years, recording the 7th lowest jobs density among the regions 19 upper tier authorities.
