Seymour Taylor doing more than their bit for charity

Will you take inspiration from the dedicated charitable work that the team at Seymour Taylor are embarking on in 2017 and do your bit too?

Leading Wycombe based Accountancy firm Seymour Taylor celebrates their Centenary year in 2017. In what will be an exciting year for the business, the team have a number of activities lined up to celebrate this important milestone for the business.

Seymour Taylor decided that they wanted to take part in a series of local projects in order to support the community and raise much needed funds for charity. From January 1st 2017 they will launch two initiatives; firstly, to deliver 100 hours of corporate social responsibility in the community, and secondly, to raise £10,000 for charity.

Working with Chiltern Rangers

In February Seymour Taylor will be working with Chiltern Rangers, who were featured in the September edition of the Buckinghamshire Business First Charity Newsletter calling for volunteers to help them with the valuable work that they do. Ten of the Seymour Taylor team will be supporting the Rangers on a number of different environmental areas throughout the ‘Be a Ranger for a Day’ session.

Chasing the £10,000 goal

In addition to this there will be a number of charity events Seymour Taylor will be taking part in to reach their £10,000 charity goal. These include taking part in:

  • High Wycombe Race for Life
  • High Wycombe half marathon
  • Chiltern Cycling Festival
  • Marlow Redkite Ride
  • Marlow Santa Fun Run at the end of 2017

Simon Turner, Managing Director of Seymour Taylor, said, “We are really excited to be going into our centenary year and are proud of all we have achieved so far as a business.

“Supporting charitable causes has always been important to us at Seymour Taylor but this year we felt we wanted to set ourselves an even bigger challenge for all of the team to get behind.

“We are looking forward to the different charity events we have coming up and supporting the local community with our CSR initiatives”.
