Seymour Taylor - making a difference in the community

With our next charity newsletter next week, Seymour Taylor provide some inspiration by revealing what charitable good they’ve done in 2017.

In a charity edition of our newsletter in December 2016, Wycombe-based accountancy firm Seymour Taylor told us all about their charitable plans for 2017, their centenary year. As 2017 nears its end, and with the next charity newsletter edition just one month away, we take a look at how much they have done and encourage other businesses to share their news, plans and events in the name of charity.

Making a difference in the community

The Seymour Taylor team decided they wanted to raise £10,000 for local and national charities and deliver 100 hours of Corporate Social Responsibility during their Centenary year. As a business year to date they have raised in excess of £11,000 in support of local charities Victim Support, Child Bereavement UK, Scannappeal and Wycombe Mind, as well as some major national charities such as Cancer Research and Red Nose Day.

They have also achieved 100 hours of Corporate Social Responsibility by working with Chiltern Rangers, local schools in the area, Buckinghamshire New University, and Young Enterprise, as well as at Fit and Fed workshops for local children needing additional support, with the Empower to Cook project, and Wycombe Wanderers’ Community Health team.
