Confident Futures Skills Show 2025

A unique opportunity for employers to inspire the next generation and secure their talent pipeline, the Confident Futures Skills Show is Buckinghamshire's most exciting experiential careers event aimed at young people and career seekers with special educational needs and disabilities or those facing barriers to entering the workforce.

Those attending the Confident Futures Skills Show will interactively engage with employers and next steps providers (universities, colleges and apprenticeship programmes) to find out more about: 

  • What it is like to work in key industries 
  • What skills and qualifications are needed to get their first job 
  • What steps they should take between now and the point of application

There will also be talks throughout the school visits, and the use of the Bowls Centre for less echo in the space.

Event Timings: 

  • Tuesday 10th June 2025
  • Set up: 8.30am
  • First round of schools: 10 – 12 pm
  • Disability Confident Employers Workshop: 12 - 1pm
  • Second round of schools: 1 - 3pm
  • Third round of attendees: 3.30 - 5.30pm

Catering: Refreshments are available on site. There is a café, as well as vending machines, where food and drinks can be purchased.

Facilities: Toilets and a water refill unit are on site for use. Please bring a reuseable water bottle to benefit from this.

Exhibitor Requirements: To exhibit at the event you must have public liability and professional indemnity insurance. You must risk assess your own stand and interactive display to ensure it complies with health and safety requirements.
