What will be covered?

The workshop will be focussing on supported internships as part of becoming a disability confident employer. This will include topics such as:

• Understanding disability and the barriers that people with disabilities face
• How to create an inclusive workplace culture
• Identifying and removing physical and attitudinal barriers
• Recruiting and retaining employees with disabilities
• Reasonable adjustments and accommodations

The workshop will include plenty of opportunities for discussion and questions and a light buffet lunch will be provided.
