At our recent event held alongside the British Business Bank, we took businesses through the vast range of funding available to them.
Event recap: Focus on Funding workshop
When and where? March 13th 2024 at Westcott Venture Park
What was it about? The event was all about shining a light on the many sources of funding available to businesses, and how the team here at Buckinghamshire Business First is on hand to connect the dots and help businesses access them. There was no shortage of great advice and inspiration in the room!
Who was there and what was said? This event was held in partnership with the British Business Bank and it was a pleasure to be joined by Susan Elliott, Senior Manager at the British Business Bank.
We had a stellar cast of panellists too: Sean O’Farrell from Choice Business Loans; Ian Murphy from Bullet & Bone; Lisa Young from Lets Do Business Finance; Cheryl Weeks from FSE; and Luke Veale from Allica. Finally, Yvette Lamidey of Central Arc Angels delivered a great presentation on ‘Preparing to Pitch’ for funding.
