High Wycombe Business Hub Update

Like many of our members, the team at Buckinghamshire Business First (BBF) made significant changes to our ways of working when lockdown started back in March.

Buckinghamshire Business First team adapt to new ways of working

Our team are normally based in High Wycombe in the West Wing of Bucks New University. Since March, we have successfully navigated the challenges of remote working, getting to grips with new technology and different ways of connecting with our colleagues and business connections. We have found that the team has remained as productive and focused as ever and have been very grateful for their continued commitment.

The High Wycombe Hub will not re-open this September

For the past two years, the BBF team have been based out of West Wing after being welcomed there when our Saunderton and Aylesbury offices closed. We have enjoyed a close working relationship with the University and are grateful for their support. With our departure, it is likely that our previous office and hub will be converted back to a teaching space from September. This will mean that the hot desk facilities and meeting room in the West Wing will sadly no longer be available for members to use.

Agile working for Buckinghamshire Business First team

What this means for our team is that they will continue to work remotely on a day to day basis. We look forward to using facilities across Buckinghamshire for face to face meetings and events when it is safe to do so.  We have built strong connections across the whole of the county and we will continue to maintain these relationships as businesses ease back into the new “normal”.  We take great pride in supporting our towns, businesses and venues across the county and look forward to re-connecting face to face in the not too distant future.

Hot desking opportunities

Our hubs in Missenden, Chesham & Buckingham will still be operating, and we aim to re-open these when possible within current government guidelines – keep an eye on our hubs page for more information.
