What do the Buckinghamshire Business Awards mean to Alcom IT?

What impressed and inspired you most about last year’s winners, the National Paralympic Heritage Trust, and the runners-up, Atula Technologies and TalkOne?

"We were incredibly impressed with all the applications for this category, however the three companies we chose to go forward to the finals were absolutely exceptional – both in the people behind the businesses and the way in which they had embraced digital technology to enhance their customers' experiences.

"The National Paralympic Heritage Trust embraced digital innovation in a way that we’d not seen before and really impressed us with the work they do with the local community as a result."

You are also a Partner member of Buckinghamshire Business First. Does this, and your awards sponsorship, make you feel more closely connected to the local business community?

"Buckinghamshire Business First is a fantastic organisation supporting businesses of all types throughout the county. Being involved with BBF as a Partner member, sponsoring the Digital Innovation Award, and being part of the business community in general is very important to us."

What would you say to anyone that is thinking of entering the Digital Innovation Award?

"Digitalisation is a great way to help businesses create a repetitive and predictable methodology. By embracing digitalisation, and technology in general, a business can set itself apart from its competitors, help the community, and increase capacity to take on more customers.
