After Dinner Speaker - Luke Delahunty

We are delighted to be welcoming Luke Delahunty, who will be speaking about inclusivity and accessibility.

Luke was serving as a Gunner in the Royal Air Force Regiment when he was paralysed from the chest down in a motorcycle crash. After four months of treatment at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, and a year of rehabilitation, he set about rebuilding his life from his wheelchair.

Luke always chose to make the most of opportunities that came his way. These opportunities have taken him all over the world, all the while challenging himself with ever bigger adventures. Luke has worked with many charities along the way, always giving back to those that helped him on his journey.

If ever there was an embodiment of the RAF Regiment motto,  ‘Per Ardua’ or ‘Through Adversity’, Luke is it. From narrowly avoiding death to making the most of life, Luke’s story is quite frankly inspirational.
